Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers (CPI-1W) — June, 2018
The All-India CPI-1W for June, 2018 increased past times 2 points together with pegged at 291 (two hundred together with 90 one). Medicine (Allopathic), Sercondary School Fee, Petrol, etc. are responsible for the increment inward index. However, this increment was checked past times Groundnut Oil, Banana, Coconut, Lemon, Mango (Ripe), Parval, Primary School Fee, etc., putting downward pressure level on the index.
The year-on-year inflation based on CPI-IW stood at 3.93 per cent for June, 2018 equally compared to 3.96 per cent for the previous calendar month together with 1.08 per cent during the corresponding calendar month of the previous year. Similarly, the Food inflation stood at 0.97 per cent against 1.66 per cent of the previous calendar month together with (-) 1.28 per cent during the corresponding calendar month of the previous year.
At centre score Quilon reported the maximum increment of ten points followed past times Jharia (7 points) together with Rourkela (6 points). Among others, v points increment was observed inward four centres, four points inward ten centres, three points inward 12 centres, 2 points inward xvi centres together with 1 indicate inward xviii centres. On the contrary, Darjeeling recorded a maximum decrease of 2 points followed past times Hyderabad alongside 1 point. Rest of the thirteen centres’ indices remained stationary.
The indices of 37 centres are inward a higher house All-India Index together with 39 centres’ indices are below national average. The indices of Jalandhar together with Jabalpur centres remained at par alongside All-India Index.
