OFFICE MEMORANDUM 

Subject:- Non- Statutory Departmental Canteens surgery inward Central Government Offices procuring License nether Food Safety in addition to Standards Act, 2006 in addition to Rules & Regulations framed at that topographic point under.

The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s D.M. No. 10/1/2004-Dir.(C) dated 30.05.2016 on the inward a higher house dependent area in addition to to nation that Food Safety & Standards Authority of Bharat has rationalized the license/ registration fee for Departmental luncheon rooms/ canteens surgery inward Central Government Offices. All the Non- Statutory departmental luncheon rooms/ canteens having turnover of less than Rs. 12 lakhs per annum would hold upward registered on payment of fee Rs. 100/- per annum in addition to those having turnover of to a greater extent than than Rs.12 lakhs would hold upward licensed on payment of fee Rs. 2000/- per annum. 
2. As a facilitation measure, FSSAI is orgainising an on-spot registration army camp for departmental canteens having turnover less than Rs. 12 lakhs per annum at FSSAI- HQ on seventh August, 2018. The next documents are required for on-spot registration:- 

i) Aadhar Card/ PAN Card 
ii) One Passport size photo 
iii) Employer ID Card 
iv) Fee i.e. Rs 100 (registration fee) 

3. All the Ministries/ Departments who accept non registered their departmental canteens nether Food Safety & Standards Act, 2006 are requested to nominate private from Canteen Staff for the said on-spot registration camp.
